Who he is

Mahran Samtouni is the founder and creator of Vygram, a social platform built independently from Tunisia. The journey of Vygram began in 2016, when Mahran started working on the project independently and gradually developed it over the years. The platform officially launched in 2026. Mahran continues to lead the development and direction of Vygram.

Vygram is a social platform for live streaming, short videos and stories — a social platform for live streaming, short videos and stories. He designed and built the entire product himself: the live streaming engine, the PK battle system, the creator wallet, the messaging layer and the safety and moderation tools.

About Vygram

Mahran Samtouni started Vygram in Tunisia with a single conviction: creators in the Arab world and North Africa generate enormous value on social platforms and capture almost none of it. Vygram was his answer — an app built around the principle "we pay you, we don't sell you."

Vygram does not sell user data and does not run ads in the feed. Creators earn directly from their audience through gifts, and Vygram takes a share of that revenue instead of a share of anyone's privacy.

• Creator wallet — coins, gifting and a payout path designed for markets the big platforms ignore
• Short videos, posts, stories and messaging
• Safety systems — in-app reporting on every surface, a moderation review queue, and child-safety protections
• Full internationalisation — English, Arabic and French, with RTL support built in
