Vygram is a social platform for live streaming, short videos, posts and stories — built on a simple promise: we pay you, we don't sell you.

What Vygram is

Vygram (فيجرام) brings together the things people actually use a social app for — going live, watching short videos, posting, sharing stories and messaging friends — in one fast, lightweight app that runs on any phone.

Where Vygram differs is the economics. Most social networks make money by collecting your data and selling your attention to advertisers. Vygram doesn't. Creators earn directly from the people who watch them, through gifts and coins, and Vygram takes a share of that instead of a share of your privacy.

Why we built it

Creators in North Africa and the Arab world produce enormous amounts of content and see almost none of the money it generates. The big platforms are not built for them: payouts are unavailable, currencies aren't supported, and the algorithms rarely favour their languages.

Vygram was built to close that gap — an app that works on the phones people actually own, in the languages they actually speak, with a payout path that actually reaches them.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
• We don't run ads in your feed. Your attention isn't the product.
• We don't hide the rules. Our Privacy Policy and Terms are written to be read, not to be skipped.

Safety

Vygram carries in-app reporting on every post, profile and live stream, a moderation review queue, and dedicated child-safety protections. Read our Child Safety Standards, or report something directly at safety@vygram.com.

The founder

Vygram was founded and is developed by Mahran Samtouni, an independent developer based in Tunisia. Mahran began working on Vygram as an independent project in 2016; the platform was officially launched in 2026.
